Noah Schillo
I grew up in Upstate New York with three brothers and a firm awareness that our world is in need of a lot of help. After high school, I moved across the country to utilize the benefits and credibility of California’s higher education system. At Columbia College, I studied under Paula Clarke and Ted Hamilton. Their courses profoundly affected my life. After two years in the Sierra Nevada Foothills, I transferred to Humboldt State University on the North Coast. My Senior Thesis research examined environmental degradation and preservation across the eastern Tibetan Plateau and central Himalayas. In 2006, I graduated with a B.S. in Environmental Science and B.A. in Geography.
Now I am back in China studying Mandarin, promoting environmental awareness citizen by citizen, and preparing for graduate school. It is my life mission to spread peace on the critical junction that humanity and our Earth have come to and inspire others to do so as well.
